细胞模型（cell model）一般指广泛地把细胞的结构和形状的模式化，为便于明确细胞间的相互作用以及机能与结构和形态间的相互关系而提出的细胞的模型。另外有时也指核糖体等具有部分细胞机能的人工颗粒。也指在保持参与细胞运动的结构（收缩结构）与机能的情况下，将膜结构及细胞质的可溶部分去掉的细胞。
