约翰·穆勒（John Stuart Mill，1806年5月20日－1873年5月8日），或译约翰·斯图尔特·密尔，也译作约翰·斯图亚特·穆勒，英国著名哲学家、心理学家和经济学家，19世纪影响力很大的古典自由主义思想家，支持边沁的功利主义。 约翰·穆勒是詹姆士·穆勒的儿子，受过其父的严格教育，在17岁时进入不列颠东印度公司，一直到1858年。他一生以新闻记者和作家的身份写了不少著作。约翰·穆勒是孔德的实证主义哲学的后继者。他把实证主义思想最早从欧洲大陆传播到英国，并与英国经验主义传统相结合。在哲学方面的主要著作有《论自由》（1859）。
