精神价值是德国舍勒用语。根据基本的价值性质而划分的四种价值中的较高级的价值。可以区分出美与丑的美学价值，正确与错误的价值，以及以其自身为目的的纯粹知识的价值。较高的价值不能像较低的价值那样被众人分割享有。如艺术品不能被分割，而食品只有分割才可以被人享有。
