我国的国际航行船舶，中国船级社已从2003年开始船舶防污底系统的检验工作并签发防污底系统符合证明(Statement of Compliance)。公约生效前，部分国际航运公司(例如中远)的国际航运船舶，绝大部分通过了检验并获得了符合证明。
