measured reserves 由美国矿业局和美国地质调查所1974年提出，成为美洲国家储量分级中的一个级别，与英国等欧洲国家储量分级中的证实储量(proved reserves)相当，是根据在露头、坑道、钻孔中以相当密的点距进行实际观测、取样所得到的资料，可靠地确定了矿体的大小、形状及矿物含量的基础上而计算的矿产储量。它与实际的误差不超过20%。
