硫代硫酸钠，又名大苏打、海波（来源于其别名 sodium hyposulfite）。它是常见的硫代硫酸盐，无色透明的单斜晶体。硫代硫酸钠易溶于水，遇强酸反应产生硫单质和二氧化硫气体。硫代硫酸钠为氰化物的解毒剂。其为无色、透明的结晶或结晶性细粒；无臭，味咸；在干燥空气中有风化性，在湿空气中有潮解性；水溶液显微弱的碱性反应。在硫氰酸酶参与下，能与体内游离的或与高铁血红蛋白结合的氰离子相结合，形成无毒的硫氰酸盐由尿排出而解氰化物中毒。此外还能与多种金属离子结合，形成无毒的硫化物由尿排出，同时还具有脱敏作用。临床上用于氰化物及腈类中毒，砷、铋、碘、汞、铅等中毒治疗，以及治疗皮肤瘙痒症、慢性皮炎、慢性荨麻疹、药疹、疥疮、癣症等。化学式为Na₂S₂O₃。
