石棉小体（asbestos bodies）：由一层含铁蛋白颗粒和酸性粘多糖包裹沉积于石棉纤维所形成，系表面有铁蛋白沉积的石棉纤维，其长短不一（长者可超过100um，短者仅数微米），黄褐色，通常一端呈球形，另一端呈哑铃状、分节状或蝌蚪形，铁反应阳性。在石棉小体旁可见异物巨细胞。
