电信学院是法国工业部直属院校，成立于1979年，是法国著名的电子通讯技术学院，精英学院（CGE）成员，电讯学院集团（GET）成员·在2004年法国权威杂志《LE POINT》的工程师学院排名中名列第21位。该校位于巴黎大区南部的EVRY地区，校园共占地5万平方米，建筑面积12000平方米，现有在校生1500人，留学生占20%；教授及研究人员170名。
