生长晕growing follicle (cut groth) 是指组织块接种进行细胞培养5～6天后，把培养瓶置于倒置相差显微镜下观察，可见到有细胞从组织块周边生长，呈放射状排列。
早期生长晕内可见成群的纤毛细胞，以后逐渐呈现鳞状终未分化。
