狮子卧势即世尊涅盘时的姿势：头北面西，右胁而卧，左腿压右腿，右手曲枕头下，左手舒伸放在身体左侧，采取这种姿势睡觉，有其深妙的道理。
豺狼必与绵羊羔同居、豹子与山羊羔同卧，少壮狮子、与牛犊、并肥畜同群，小孩子要牵引他们。牛必与熊同食，牛犊必与小熊同卧，狮子必吃草与牛一样。
