热膨胀率指样品加热处理前后体积变化的相对百分率，适用于膨胀性能较小的固体样品。其实质与膨胀倍数一样，只是表示方法不同。可参考《岩石矿物分析》蛭石项下“膨胀倍数” 热膨胀率=（受热后体积-受热前体积）/受热前体积*100%
