滨江花园位于扬州开发区施桥镇，和扬子新苑都属于扬州市开发区的拆迁安置小区。 滨江花园是以前六圩乡境内居民的拆迁安置小区，六圩乡曾经在2001年之前是独立的乡镇，归属于邗江县。2001年与施桥镇合并。2003年施桥镇（包括六圩）、八里镇划归为扬州市经济开发区。扬州南郊最有名的工艺之乡，这个厂培养了一批工艺师。主要是木工、雕工、漆工。
