流感样症状主要表现为：发热，体温37.5℃以上，伴畏寒，乏力、头痛、头晕、全身酸痛；呼吸道有卡他症状，常有咽痛，少数有鼻塞、流涕等；少数有恶心、呕吐、食欲不振、腹泻、腹痛等。有少数患者以消化道症状为主要表现。老人、婴幼儿、有心肺疾病着者或接受免疫抑制剂治疗者患流感后可发展为肺炎。
初期症状包括体温38度以上的高烧和其他流感样症状。
