水蜡（Ligustrum obtusifolium Sieb. et Zucc.）属木犀科，四季常青，耐修剪，易整形，是行道树、园路树及盆景的优良选择树种。 在南方露地种植为常绿树种，在北方可露地越冬，但多为半常绿树种。 适应性较强，喜光照，稍耐荫，耐寒，对土壤要求不严。
