将筏板划分为相互垂直的条带，条带的分界线就是相邻柱列间的中线，将各条带假设为互不影响的基础梁，按静定法、倒梁法或其它方法可计算出条带的内力。 由于空间效应的影响，也就是说，受柱的影响，在同一个条带内，弯矩沿带宽并非均匀分。设计时，一般将67％的总弯矩分配给柱中线a/2 ( b/2)范围部分，其余33％分配给两侧宽 a/4（ b/4）的边缘部分。 条带法计算比较简单，但将一个整体的板分割为互无联系的条带进行计算，显然与筏板的实际变形及受力情况有出入的。
