1947年毕业于东北大学自然科学院。曾任鸡西矿务局机电科科长。1953年毕业于苏联普洛考比叶夫斯克矿山技术学校矿山机电系。1954年回国。历任阜新矿务局平安煤矿总机电师、副总工程师，阜新矿务局机电处主任工程师，阜新矿务局五龙煤矿总机电师、副总工程师，阜新矿务局副总工程师、高级工程师，中国电工技术学会第一届理事。对处理矿山机电复杂的技术问题，有丰富的实践经验和较高的技术水平。著有《煤矿机电设备的检修》、《矿井电缆的敷设与运行》等。1996年1月2日去世。
