早熟玉米品种垦单8号生育期111天，需有效积温2120℃，以早熟、密植、高产著称，是黑龙江省农垦科学院作物所玉米育种课题组于1998年杂交选育而成的早熟玉米品种。2005年3月通过黑龙江省农作物品种审定委员会审定推广。
