明代医家。字约之，号古庵，休宁（今属安徽）人。精医学，私淑朱丹溪，对《丹溪心法》深入研究，始悟其母因天疱疮受人误治而卒。更发愤攻医。尝谓“得医道之全者，丹溪一人；发丹溪之蕴者，《心法》一书”，推崇备至。于潜心研究后颇有心得，遂著《丹溪心法附余》二十四卷，其方法虽本于丹溪，但亦颇多发明，互为发明，有其创见。尚著有《脉药证治》、《伤寒书》、《药性书》等，未见行世。
