斯宾塞体（Spenserian stanza ）每诗节九行，诗格数不限；前八行是抑扬格五音步（十音节），第九行是抑扬格六音步（十二音节）。这最後一行又称为亚历山大诗行，因十二世纪末的法文长诗《亚历山大传奇》(Roman d’ Alexandre)的诗行都是十二个音节，因而得名。斯宾塞体的韵式为ababbcbcc，个别的韵式为ababbabaa。斯宾塞体是英国诗歌历史上的重要诗体。文艺复兴时期的著名诗人埃德蒙‧斯宾塞(Edmund Spenser) 在其代表作《仙后》(The Faerie Queene)中首先使用这种诗体，遂以他的名字命名。
