摄动法又称小参数展开法。利用摄动法求解方程的渐进解，通常要将物理方程和定解条件无量纲化，在无量纲方程中选择一个能反映物理特征的无量纲小参数作为摄动量，然后假设解可以按小参数展成幂级数，将这一形式级数代入无量纲方程后，可得各级近似方程，依据这些方程可确定幂级数的系数，对级数进行截断，便得到原方程的渐进解。
