“接地”就是指在系统与某个电位基准之间建立低电阻通路，相同接地点之间的连线被称为地线。通常电子设备的“地”有两种含义：一种是接“大地”。以大地作为零电位，把电子设备的金属外壳、电路基准点与大地相连，有保护设备和人员安全的作用，如保护接地、防雷接地等，通常称之为“安全地”。另一种是“系统基准地”。在弱电系统中的接地不一定是指真实意义上与地球相连的接地，有提高系统稳定性、屏蔽保护性以增强系统电磁兼容性的作用，在必要时也可做接“大地”处理，通常称之为“信号地”
