扫海测量，简称“扫测”。是指对港口、航道、锚地范围内的最浅水深、水下障碍物位置的测量工作。用扫海船艇拖曳扫海工具在需扫测水域或航道内往返扫测，每次扫测面积应有1/3〜1/2重叠。当扫具遇到暗礁、沉船或其他水下碍航物时，则测定其位置范围和水深，并由潜水员了解碍航物在水下的状况及碍航程度。
