太庙戟门，尚为明代规制。黄琉璃筒瓦屋面，单檐庑殿顶，檐下施单抄双下昂斗拱，坐落在汉白玉石护栏围绕的白石须弥座台基上，台基前后踏道三 出。戟门前有单孔白石拱桥5座，戟门左右旁门各一。桥北面东西两侧各有一座六角井亭，桥南左为神库，右为神厨。戟门内外原列戟 120根，八国联军入京时全部被盗走。今不存。
坐北向南，顺中轴线依次为先师庙门、戟门、大成殿，戟门内为四合院落。
