We don't want them to get frustrated or stressed out planning something they have been looking forward to for possibly a year. Because of that, we try to do a couple of things.

We made some future plans to travel together for different school events and even investigate the possibility that the children might room together.

"That's a good idea." I said. Then we prepared for the traveling. After lunch, the sky turned dark. After that, it rained heavily. It meant our plan is impossible. What a pity day!
