怀地黄，河南省焦作市特产，中国国家地理标志产品。 地黄，原系野生，最早生长于陕西咸阳一带，后传至各地。中国数省均有生产，但其最佳者为怀地黄。李时珍《本草纲目》记载：“江浙壤地黄者，受南方阳气，质虽光润机时力微；怀庆府产者，禀北方纯阴，皮有疙瘩而力大。”所以古今中外人们都以怀货为贵，产地因历史上的怀庆府而得名，位于今河南焦作一带。 2003年08月07日，原国家质检总局批准对“怀地黄”实施原产地域产品保护。
