强夯置换是强夯用于加固饱和软粘土地基的方法。强夯置换法的加固机理与强夯法不同,它是利用重锤高落差产生的高冲击能将碎石、片石、矿渣等性能较好的材料强力挤入地基中,在地基中形成一个一个的粒料墩,墩与墩间土形成复合地基,以提高地基承载力,减小沉降。在强夯置换过程中,土体结构破坏,地基土体产生超孔隙水压力,但随着时间的增加,土体结构强度会得到恢复。粒料墩一般都有较好的透水性,利于土体中超孔隙水压力消散产生固结。
