帆状胎盘（velamentous placenta）指脐带附着于胎膜，血管经胎膜作扇形分布进入胎盘。帆状胎盘在双胎中的发生率比单胎高9倍，而且此胎盘对母体本身无影响，主要对胎儿的影响较大。如果脐带附着点正好在胎盘下缘近宫颈处，可受胎儿先露部的压迫，引起胎儿宫内窘迫乃至死亡。而当其血管接近宫颈口，并位于先露部的前方时则会造成血管前置，导致胎儿失血。治疗应迅速采取措施结束分娩，以剖宫产为宜，使胎儿迅速脱离缺血、缺氧环境。
