英文名称mountain yellow stone 也属“田黄”，但产于山坡溪涧间(即属于溪坂田石)。由于搬运距离短，棱角未能全部磨蚀，故常具已圆化的角砾状。又因水化程度不足，常具较厚的枯干的石皮，皮上还时有“锈斑”。优质的田黄则呈局部团块镶嵌于质地较差的部分之中。其价值视优质田黄的含量多寡而定。
