安全带提醒装置SBR（Safety Belt Reminder）是当驾驶员和前排乘员没有使用安全带时，提醒驾驶员和前排乘员的系统。该系统由探测未系安全带的传感器和两级提醒驾驶员的信号（第一级是视觉信号，第二级是视觉和听觉信号）所组成。对于车祸事故中的乘员，正确的使用安全带是最有效的保护措施，这一结论已得到大家的公认。调查表明，大多数不系安全带的乘员在受到适当的提醒时是可以系上安全带的。安全带提醒装置（SBR）就是用于提醒这些乘员使用安全带。
其次，结合各国道路交通安全法规，对国内外道路交通安全现状进行了分析，得出了安全带提醒装置对提高我国道路交通安全现状的初步效果；
