Last year, she completed the Career Development Course on Chinese Calligraphy jointly organized by St. James Settlement and the Jiazi Society of Calligraphy.
那时候，我已经学会了我的书法。我的连写体字母衔接得非常漂亮，比我那一年前歪歪扭扭的，潦草的字迹要好了很多。
By that time, I had learned my penmanship. My cursive letters flowed in a fair, clean hand from my pen, far better than the crooked scrawl I had been using even a year before.
尽管我开始对这门艺术很冷漠，但是我最终还是学会了怎样把书法字写好，不管用钢笔还是毛笔。
Despite my initial indifference toward this fading art, I did learn how to write well, using both pen and brush.
