奥林匹克数学，简称“奥数”。1934年和1935年，前苏联将数学竞赛与体育竞赛相结合，冠以“数学奥林匹亚”的名称。后逐渐发展为国际性赛事，由国际数学教育专家命题，难度加大，几乎超过大学入学考试。
