“大生产”是沈阳卷烟厂的品牌，随着新中国的成立而诞生，伴着共和国的成长而发展。1948年11月，沈阳解放了，成立于1908年的沈阳制烟厂回到了人民的手中。然而，迅速恢复生产后的烟厂生产的还是敌伪时期的老牌号。当家作主后的工人阶级渴望生产出自己的新品牌。经过技术人员的攻关，很快研制出一个新产品，起名为“生产”牌。第一代“生产”的烟标图案是一个工人头像，肩杠一柄大锤，旁边是齿轮，展示了工人阶段当家作主的崭新风貌。
