复合透镜（compound lens）是指两个以上的单体透镜构成的透镜。用一片凸透镜的单体透镜也可以聚光，但为使像差尽量小，得到平衡好的清晰像，必须将各种形式及各种光学玻璃的凸透镜和凹透镜组合起来。将这些凹凸单体透镜单独或胶合组成适于各种目的的复合透镜。一般的镜头几乎100%都是复合透镜。
