壬二酸，俗名杜鹃花酸，外观为白色至微黄色单斜棱晶、针状结晶或粉末。用作增塑剂， 并用于醇酸树脂、漆和化工合成。对皮肤、眼睛、粘膜和上呼吸道有刺激作用，吸入或摄入对身体有害。对环境有危害，对水体和大气可造成污染。
