墨人，原名张万熙，诗人、小说家。1920年4月20日生，江西九江人。曾任报社主笔、总编辑，中国医药学副教授，并兼任东吴大学中文系副教授。1939年开始从事写作。 早年从军，1960年退役，从事专业写作。早年从事诗歌创作，曾出版过两册诗集。1951年开始，转向小说创作，他的第一部长篇小说《闪烁的星辰》，被称为开了台湾长篇小说的先河。1955年，以长篇小说《黑森林》获中华文奖会奖金，其短篇曾两次入选世界最佳小说。
