地面照度是指太阳光达到地面的光照强度。太阳光透过大气层直接投射到地面的部分，称“直射照度”；被大气层乱反射后投射到地面部分，称“散射照度”。地面照度是直射照度与散射照度的总和。一天之内中午前后直射照度最大，散射照度最小。散射照度影响物景的反差，在航空摄影中多选择在中午前后进行。
再利用地面温度、气温、水汽压和总云量，计算得出福建省各地的地面有效辐射的月、年平均辐照度。
