四肢动物 Quadrupeds 亦称四脚类、四足类，包括属于脊椎动物的两栖类、爬行类、鸟类、哺乳类，有时鸟类除外;林奈（C．von Linn’e）仅对哺乳动物称做四肢动物。也有把寄生在植物上有2对步足的蜱螨类如瘿螨、Aclulus等叫做四肢动物。
