Apple's main supplier Foxconn is planning to build a new processing base in northwest China.

Foxconn, which makes iPhones for Apple Inc., said it will double salaries for its lowest-paid workers after at least 10 Chinese employees killed themselves this year.
苹果公司称其会继续与富士康合作来完成项目，并将会从富士康的合作中吸取教训，以此应对其他供货商和生产部门。
The company said it would continue to work with Foxconn on implementing the programs and would take some lessons from its collaboration with Foxconn to other suppliers and facilities.
