唐山陶瓷是古老的传统制瓷技艺。始于明朝永乐年间，距今已有近600年的历史。唐山陶瓷装饰的主要技法是雕金、喷彩、釉中彩等，形成了唐山陶瓷的独特风格。据清代撰写的《滦州志》风俗篇中记载：明朝永乐年间“惟 唐山多缸窑能制陶器罂瓮盆盎之属”。当时只有粗陶，清末始有粗瓷，后来略产细瓷。品种：产品有餐具、茶具、酒具、瓶、盘等日用细瓷和陈设品，共500多种。
