双面机是瓦楞纸板生产线中的重要单机。双面机(也称加热贴合机)的主要作用是将单面瓦楞纸板和面纸进行粘合、加热固化、烘干后冷定形成为优质的三层、五层或七层瓦楞纸板，再将瓦楞纸板传递给纵切压痕机等设备对纸板进行切割加工。
