《别样的风景》是关于俄罗斯文学和文化的集子，共分三部分：第一辑是对俄罗斯文学和文化历史的回顾，对俄罗斯文坛现状的观察；第二辑是对十余位俄罗斯作家的评述，评述对象中既有托尔斯泰、陀思妥耶夫斯基这样的经典作家，也有叶罗菲耶夫、佩列文等后现代文学的代表人物；第三辑是 关于俄罗斯风土风光的几帧速写。苏联解体后的俄罗斯文坛已换了人间，呈现出某种“别样的风景”，长期从事俄罗斯文学和文化研究的《别样的风景》作者试图从那幅大风景上裁下几片，再加以组合，向读者诸君献上这本薄薄的俄罗斯文化写真集。
