减压蒸发，又称负压蒸发或真空蒸发。蒸发器在负压条件下进行操作讷过程。需要密闭的设备，经常是将二次蒸汽经冷凝器冷凝后排出，使蒸发器内的二次蒸汽成为负压。此时，溶液的沸点比常压时降低，加热蒸汽与二次蒸戳之间的有效传热温差可提高，蒸发器的生产强度可增大。减压蒸发的加热蒸汽可以使用低压蒸汽或废气作为热源，同时操作中系统的热损失也小，故应用广泛。
