亚洲中南半岛越南少数民族之一。自称“布侬”，意为“种田人”。另有许多自称并冠有其祖居地的地名，如“窝那侬”、“窝杭侬”、“万承侬”、“崇善侬”、“吴侬”、“昭侬”等。约53.5万人(1978)，主要分布在高平、谅山、北太、河宣、黄连山、广宁等省，以及南部的林同、胡志明市。
