体环 annulus 亦称小环节。蛭类之身体原则上由34个体节（头部6个），躯干部21个，后吸盘由7个体节愈合而成）组成，但外观上为远远超过此数（每1体节3个以上，12、14个等）的称为环沟的横环所分隔。这种演环仅为体壁的一种横沟，与原来的体节并无直接关系。这种外表性的环状区分称为体环。即使同一种类，依身体部位不同，每个体节中的体环数也不尽相同。
