企业编制通常在事业单位中，有两种情况，一是该单位除了有事业人员的编制外，还有的人员按企业用工对待，不占事业编制，他们属于工勤人员（也有事业编制的工勤人员）。二是单位除了事业编制外，另办有企业性质的单位，隶属于这个事业单位，该企业性质单位的人员当然身份是企业员工。 但在实际中，这个事业单位为了方便工作，把不同性质单位的人员混合使用。尽管是在混合使用，但人事管理上身份截然不同。而且因为长期一样的工作，往往连属于企业编制的人员自己都会忽略了其身份。
小企业编制的会计报表可以不包括现金流量表。
