交船，是指定期租船合同中船东在规定的地点、时间将船舶交给租船人的义务。交船时，船舶应符合租船合同规定的适航要求，船上剩油最也应在合同约定的数量范围内。许多合同范本内还订有交船检验、检验时间和费用的划分之类的条款。为防止交船地点纠纷，还应规定港口内的某一精确地点。例如，“到达港口引航站交船进港引水员下船交船”等。交船时间应在合同约定的交船期限内。
