三国时期古战场——乌林，湖北洪湖境内，与赤壁隔江。历史上著名的“赤壁之战”就发生于此。赤壁之战并非火烧赤壁，实则火烧乌林。赤壁，因火烧乌林的大火映红了对江的赤壁而得名。 关于赤壁之战，火烧乌林史料，《水经注》、《三国志》，明代嘉清《沔阳志》均有记载。 现为乌林悦兮半岛国际温泉度假区。乌林悦兮半岛国际温泉旅游度假区位于湖北省洪湖市（现有古地名及发掘出的文物），靠近洪湖中心城区新堤，距离武汉1小时左右车程，是一处坐落在三国旅游线上的新兴旅游景区。
