abstract:Aristosuchus was a small coelurosaurian dinosaur, whose name was derived from the Greek ἄριστος (bravest, best, noblest) and σουχος, the Ancient Greek corruption of the name of the Egyptian crocodile-headed god Sobek. It shared many characteristics with birds.
