Study of the experimental data indicated that the quaternary system exhibited a well-situated property at morphotropic phase boundary(MPB).

Our results show that morphotropic phase boundaries and giant piezoelectric effects do not require intrinsic disorder, and open the possibility of studying this effect in simple systems.

Novel relaxor ferroelectric single crystal lead magnesium niobate-lead titanate (PMNT) has been found to exhibit excellent piezoelectric properties near the morphotropic phase boundary (MPB).
