甜菜根
事实上,甜菜根(Beetroot)是非常健康的根茎类蔬菜,吃起来有点甜味,咬起来像是生胡萝卜,而我最爱的,其实是甜菜根的紫色。

It is several of the cultivated varieties of beet (Beta vulgaris) grown for their edible taproots and their greens. These varieties have been classified as B. vulgaris subsp. vulgaris Conditiva Group.Other than as a food, its uses include food coloring and as a medicinal plant. Many beet products are made from other Beta vulgaris varieties, particularly sugar beet.
